and my U.S. History teacher was trying to get us to understand why it was such a big deal that England had put a tax on colonial sugar, and he goes,

"What if you had to pay a tax every time you logged onto wifi?"

And the whole class just went

and I heard at least two people whisper “I would murder someone”

FUCK
Ok so my plan was to put them in a big bin I had, but that got cracked somehow. So I have to make due with this.
Unfortunately, I can’t afford a pond now or in the future, as much as I would LOVE to keep these guys.
So I’m taking the healthiest ones in to my work to be sold as PETS. It’s not ideal, I know, but it’s better than dying in a dumpster.
Also unfortunately, about 20 were dead in the bag when I got them. The remainder are in really rough shape and may not pull through. As it stands, in this condition, I cannot take them into work.
So for now I’ll care for them to the best of my ability.
IF ANYBODY IN RHODE ISLAND HAS A POND OR STOCK TANK AND CAN TAKE THEM PLEASE SEND ME AN ASK. I’d love to re home them that way but I know it is unlikely.
